If you were going to build a 620ci Ford versus the same-size Chevy, the Ford is less work. nothing bad to say about the company but a thing to watch out with these big inch small blocks is rod to stroke ratio, many of them use small rods which isnt good for any thing in a high performance engine as they hurt volumetric efficiency, and a lot of them that use a Chevrolet block with the stock deck height have long rods have pistons with a very low compression height that means the wrist pin is located very high on the skirt of the piston and this gives you very little room for things like rings, this gives you very little room between the compression ring and the deck of the piston, this area takes the most beating out of any other part of the piston if you plan to run any kind of nitrous or forced induction.

Look at what the OEMs are doing, like Dodge with the Hellephant, or on the GM side, LT-4 with a supercharger and a cam change. The factory computers can support it, and for older cars, there are options from Holley, FAST, and AEM. However there's definitely a problem with customer service when nearly 60K is paid for an engine and when the supplier can't meet its commitments, they can tell their client to hit the road and expect it to simply go away.
