Innovative Spanish-inflected cuisine with local produce in a whimsical all-white space, plus a bar. The decor is dramatically white, yet this spot sports a colorful history.
I recommend trying fish dishes, I liked this place but a few crucial things happened that made me put 4 stars instead of 5. Overlooking the lush woodlands around the Cuale River, cooled by an ocean breeze and serving well-prepared international and Mexican comfort food (and excellent icy margaritas), the River Cafe is a popular spot for a slow lunch or dinner.
The flavors that adorn its menu are typical of the region and you can enjoy them by candlelight. This friendly and beautiful hotel is a heavenly escape from reality. There are many non seafood dishes as well for those that don't eat fresh fish and seafood. Puerto Vallarta is the Cancn of the Mexican Pacific a city of high-rise hotels framed by the rugged Sierra Madre mountains, fringing a vast bay of soft sand sprinkled with islands.
The service is amazing, everyone was very attentive. Excellent food, attentive and friendly staff, and fantastic prices. And since happy hour is all about a good drink, here you can try the traditional mojitos, or a classic margarita, but don't forget to venture out and try the innovative proposal of its mixology. Food

We stumbled upon this gem as we bopped around la zona romantica. Ordered the shrimp plate they did not devein the shrimp and it was a different size than what was displayed. My fianc and I made a reservation here for our anniversary dinner and we loved it so much! We both added a side of rice which I highly recommend.
If you like seafood this is a great place for very good reasonable priced fresh seafood. Style felt French, wonderful portions and delicious dishes!

Maybe they just happened to have some duds on tap when I came. But when you look towards the back you kinda see a bunch of scattered colourless tables.
Dessert was very glittery and colorful for our table. With owner approval, tavern is dog friendly. Its a little off the beaten road but it adds to its uniqueness. We recommend the blue corn taco with eggs, bacon, and avocado.

We just got back from a week visit at Casa Cupula. Went here for dinner with my wife while in PV and we enjoyed our dinner and service. Its been a while since weve had delicious Caribbean food and oregano served a serious punch! Margaritas were on the rocks and also good. Chef Chela offers gourmet Caribbean flavors, Jamaican, Creole, and Cajun Cuisine, in a relaxed and warm ambiance. Overall this place is really cozy and has really good food, but I think it's about the communication that messed up that one order. Excellent and beautifully presented meal! We were like, oh ok and there was also a orangy pink sauce on both of theirs. La leche means milk in Spanish.
The room had an Apple TV and receiver/speakers, so we could always have music on to fit our mood.
The main dishes are prepared with local ingredients and the catch of the day. We cant find a country that matches your search. Wooden tables are draped in heavy white linens, colourful Mexican art adorns the walls, light spills from the street through art nouveau stained glass. Well worth it. A couple of times things we asked for werent delivered, but they were small things (refill the shower gel).
Deserts are so unique and delicious. Chef Polo Cortes has created a unique dining experience that everyone is raving about. The presentation was flawless and the service was impeccable. La Leche is located north of downtown Puerto Vallarta en route to the marina. El Dorado opens each morning at 8:30am, serving breakfast and brunch on Playa Los Muertos. Eli even made a cocktail himself that he said would be the best that we have ever had and he was right. Service staff were amazing and attentive and that's on top of the great cold brew and the many many delicious breakfast we've had for the week. What a gem! The decor is obviously unique and definitely added to the experience. We had a great room, great view and great overall experience..
Also the kitchen closes quite early and my kids weren't full after their messed up taco . I made a reservation via Facebook messenger, very easy to do. Book well ahead to ensure a cliffside pew.
The restaurant arranged a cab back to the romantic zone for us. Due to the understated and minimalist black and white interior, the inventive and surprising dishes are allowed to speak for themselves. Or perhaps one of the best resorts? We stayed in the Sayuri suite, which has a spacious balcony with a small dipping pool, and views of the mountains (there is an ocean view too, but partly obstructed). We will absolutely be telling our friends about this place, as we will remember it forever. Arrived via Uber, but unavailable at the end of our meal. We were there at sunset for hubbies birthday. My kids ordered tacos, they had 2 options and none of us spoke Spanish so we didn't understand what they were. Their fine cuts, salads, soups, pastas, and seafood are a true delight, and are paired to perfection with table wines from Mexico, Argentina and the United States. If youre from Vancouver its like a super cute healthy cafe. Do your part to keep this gem alive!
El Dorado has been a prime beachfront dining destination since the early 1960s. This place has vibrantly colorful wall art, which is matched by the service of the staff and Chef Graciela, a beautiful woman from Curacao!. The dishes that stand out to me are the Braised Octopus appetizer, the Scallops entree, and the Profiteroles for dessert. We ordered the chicken roti and the oxtail.
While you're here you can't miss the "bridge of love", which joins the houses of the two actors and was witness to their torrid romance.
