In 2013, a group of passionate and experienced theatre educators recognized the need to provide a training ground for young theatre artists who wanted to take their training to a higher level. Six years later, Apex Theatre Studio Inc. (a 501c3) has established itself as the premiere training facility for young artists working at an intermediate to advanced level. To be considered for Plays AND Musicals please bring a 60-90 second monologue and a 16-bar cut of a musical theatre song in the style of the shows. The Studio Theatre Tierra del Sol (a flexible black box space located in The Villages, Florida) will hold in-person auditions in CHICAGO at Theater Wit May 27th-29th. Accompanist provided. Hamlet is great choice because at the center of the play is a young person.

We have no required experience, fees, or membership dues for anyone on or backstage. We rehearse in the evenings and on weekends. There is no pay involved.
