Many might not know that the residence of the Segamat District Officer is also located here. Dont forget to take a picture with this iconic Muar structure when you pass by this are. Do bring your picnic mat along for a relaxing evening getaway from the city. Good place to spend an afternoon.

Apart from entering the park through the mouth of a giant T-rex, you will also get to see a 85-foot-long Brachiosaurus walking around mingling with the crowd. Tanjung emas waterfront is an another attraction when you are at the tanjung emas park, at evening the sunset was nice and it's also a spacious, clean and airy waterfront.

The process is somewhat cumbersome and with larger families in tow, time consuming. There is also a lake in the vicinity where you can ride on cute small boats with your children.

If you are a diver, sign yourself up for an unforgettable diving session here. She was very informative and it was an educational tour for the kids as well. This Zoo has been in operation for nearly a century but was opened to the public about 5 decades ago.

We were unaware of this and it bit us badly on our return, having to fill out new applications inside the border control office. i have visited aeon tebrau mall a few times each time after i had visted ikea .it is one of a better mall in jb and there are a big cinema theater at the top level of the mall .we spent the whole day shopping at the mall and then go for some leg massage and some chinese food at the restaurants at the third level of the mall. One can also enjoy the many cultural show performances. Pasar Karat is a night flea market that is located in Jalan Segget in Johar Bahru.

This next place you should visit is the Dinosaur Alive Water Theme Park. Come here for the exquisite art, carving and beautiful tall buildings in the compound.

Jason Bay, also known as Teluk Mahkota is located at Tanjung Sendili. This mosque was built under the direction of Sultan Abu Bakar between the year 1892 to 1900s.

One of the largest recreational parks in Johor Bahru, Danga Bay is a perfect hangout spot nestling in the southern part of iskandar Malaysia.

It is an intricately designed arena spread over two floors with beautiful architecture. Inside the building, you will be able to find many black and white photographs telling the story of the Bugis race in Johor. Why? A calm beach lined up by fishing boats and an opportunity to catch fishermen in action. Johor is the southernmost state of peninsular Malaysia and is closest to our neighbour country, Singapore.

17 km from city center Antique collectors should definitely make their way here as you never know that you might come across a valuable and one of a kind loot.

Tengah Island is an unspoiled and private island in between Besar Island and Hujong Island.

What is so great about this location is that it provides 2 kinds of trails, the concrete jungle trail, and jungle trail. Escape from the bustling town and take a nature stroll learning about the many flora and fauna here. Lots of shops and restaurants.

This is a perfect place for families to learn more about mother nature while it also provides you with a farm-like experience unlike any other. Located 20 kilometers away from the Batu Pahat town, you will come across this very beautiful and lush recreational park for a relaxing stroll in the park.

However there may be AM and PM peaks because on the return there was a logjam of traffic at the bridge (approx 5pm). We stop at the river and waterfall section and took a cool swim and chill for awhile before heading for lunch in Kulai 8Kati.

This place is not only famous for the blue crystal waters but the corals and lagoons as well.

Penggaram Square is a must-visit landmark for its historical significance.

Its colonial design has gotten everyone flocking here to take Insta-worthy pictures.

Surrounded by a small garden, this clock tower was built according to western architecture.



Endau-Rompin National Park is a reserved tropical rainforest in the southernmost of the Tenasserim Hills.

Also known as the Old Temple, it functions as the worship place of 5 Chinese clans- Hakka, Cantonese, Teochew, Hokkien and Hainan. Mersing Museum is one of the oldest buildings in this area and it stores a plethora of artefacts from World War Two. Unfortunately when reach the entrance,they are closed.but since it's a protected tropical rainforest (the second-largest national park in Peninsular Malaysia after Taman Negara) ,so on the way in and out ,the scenery are very beautiful and nice fresh air. Another reason why you should visit this place is for its serene beach and also the chiselled rocks that are carved by the waves over time.

The exclusive integrated development consists of luxury service apartments, commercial, leisure and entertainment.

After passing the waterfall section further up there we went through the trail section (Hutan Pelajaran). Not fully open to the public but you can still catch a glimpse of the beautiful royal garden.

I nearly forgot to take off my shoes when i step in to the. This waterfall not only offers a scenic view but a recreational water park as well. Located just next to the Pantai Minyak Beku, this Batu Pahat well was dug by fleeing Siamese soldiers during the reign of Sultan Mansur Syah. Soga Perdana Amenity Forest is a recreational forest best for activities such as jungle trekking and mountain hiking.

Gorek Bay which is located 22km from the Mersing Town, is a beautiful place filled with tall coconut trees and a quiet beach.

This wooden building is built on stilts replicating an ancient Malay building. Its a small temple with great view.

Quite a nice and interesting place to visit with friends or family.

Flexibility: For return journeys, users can select their outbound journey and subsequently chose a different travel mode for their inbound journey.
